mark_lackFrom the Titanic wreck site at the bottom of ocean to the Vatican’s private museums and libraries to King Tut’s tomb in Egypt, Mark Lach has been inspired by unique settings to shape the way visitors experience some of the world’s most popular traveling exhibitions. As senior vice president, Lach is responsible for the design of Arts and Exhibitions International’s (AEI) portfolio of exhibitions. His work on two National Geographic King Tut exhibitions,

Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs and Tutankhamun: The Golden King and the Great Pharaohs, has been critically acclaimed and seen by more than 9 million visitors during U.S. and European engagements since 2005. Perhaps his most demanding project to date, the exhibition design requires a delicate balance between theatrical elements and reverence of the ancient objects themselves.

Lach also serves as creative director for Real Pirates: The Untold Story of the Whydah from Slave Ship to Pirate Ship, Cleopatra: The Search for the Last Queen of Egypt and America I AM: The African American Imprint, a historic touring exhibition mounted in partnership with broadcaster Tavis Smiley.
