Jason Simmons – General Manager
Jason Simmons began his entertainment industry career in 1997 at Magic Arts and Entertainment marketing touring theatricals and concerts including
West Side Story, A Chorus Line, and Janet Jackson’s
Velvet Rope Tour. In 1999 Simmons left Magic Arts and Entertainment to join the programming department of Playhouse Square Foundation, the second largest performing arts center in the U.S. where he had the opportunity to work with some of the most successful Broadway tours and national acts. Simmons rejoined the Magic Arts and Entertainment team in 2003 to take the position of Marketing Manager, marketing the national tour of Michael Flatley’s
Lord of the Dance and
David Copperfield. During this time Jason also developed his graphic design skills and was given the opportunity to create some of the merchandise art for the exhibition
Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs. Simmons made the switch from theatricals to exhibitions in early 2007. Ten years after his first break in the entertainment industry, Jason took the opportunity to reunite with John Norman, accepting the position of General Manager with Arts & Exhibitions.
